Cose da fare a Capri

What to do at Capri

To do list: what you must to see at Capri

In one day you can do many things at Capri, but what to do first?

Thanks to these ideas you could decide to spend a few more days on this wonderful island. Capri is the favorite destination of the international jet set. In addition to its beauty, it will not be difficult to meet the gaze of some celebrities.  Many are the brands that have chosen it as a photo shoot for their campaigns. It is a destination chosen by actors, writers and singers.

But you probably already know these things! So let’s move on to what to do once you get to Capri.

The Faraglioni

Did you know that kissing under the arch of the Faraglione brings good luck? That’s why many lovers decide to propose here.  With the first lights of dawn, the pink reflections of the water give us the best image of the stacks .

Marina Piccalo

Wonderful small rocky bay.  Its crystal clear waters will remain etched in your lifetime memory. Here you can admire the Mermaid Rock. Here the legend of the Odyssey says the Mermaids seduced Odysseus.

Entering the Blue Grotto

It’s a real adventure. A cave lit up by electric blue light beams coming in through an underwater opening. Obviously the beautiful things have a price: to enter you must use small rowing boats led by experienced boatmen. The blue grotto is half underwater. You can only enter at certain times of the day and according to the tides. We recommend visiting between 12h00 and 14h00.

A walk to the Gardens of Augustus

A multitude of terraces overlooking the sea from where you can admire the Faraglioni, the bay of Marina Piccolo and the famous Via Krupp. It is about 15 minutes from Marina Piccolo, passing by the famous square of Capri.

Lighthouse of Punta Carena

We recommend a sunset aperitif at the bay below the Punta Carena lighthouse, on the south-west coast of Capri. After a day of sea and discovery, the well-deserved relaxation. You can find two local pubs with live music.

Obviously you can not leave the island without having tasted the Pizza alta, the Caprese cake, the Lemon Ice Cream and the Limoncello.
